From a single vineyard, with fruit given a 2 week cold soak to help set colour and aromatics. Aged in 31% new French oak.
Enticing nose of stewed raspberry, wild cherry, mulberry and pepper; good breadth with impressive weight and ripe, grainy tannins. Still quite primary and youthful, but grows in complexity with complex meaty notes appearing in the glass.
Delivers a lot of quality for the price.
